For those of you who read this blog consistently, you know that own wardrobe is comprised of mostly affordable fashion pieces, with a high luxury item thrown in occasionally. I love and have a particular weakness for luxury accessories, but there tends to be a pretty large price gap in what I own between my Cartier Jewelry to my clothes from Forever 21.
First in a series of holiday gift posts, I chose to focus on small luxury gift ideas. Although my main mission of this blog is to help my readers navigate the world of affordable luxury, the holidays are often a time for splurging. I chose the price point of under $400 to show my readers that you can own a piece of luxury without spending thousands. By gifting that one luxury splurge to your loved ones, you will likely be giving them an indulgence they will enjoy for years. That being said, I will have more on affordable gift ideas under $50 on this site next week.
1. Jord Wood Watch:
I have always loved cool watches, but before I thought women’s watches were limited to metal or leather materials. A beautiful scarf is a chic and timeless classic, that often gets overlooked as a gift you would give your mother or grandmother. A beautiful designer scarf is an item that fashionable women of all ages should have in their wardrobe. My go to designer scarf for my wardrobe is an equestrian themed, Hermès scarf. I chose this style because Hermès has a rich history of equestrian accessories. 3. Gucci Narrow Belt:
Another one of my favorite ways to take any affordable outfit to a whole new level, is with a classic designer belt. This newer style Gucci double G belt is very popular right now, but I personally prefer it in the skinnier size. It looks great a little higher on the waist, and feminine over a dress. 4. All Saints Handbag:
I discovered the All Saints’ line of handbags during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This brand makes a very classic and versatile handbag. The quality of leather and design rivals my high luxury handbags that cost thousands. I love the how this bag is understated, can be carried in several ways, and is very lightweight because it is not covered in heavy hardware.
