How to Dress Chic and Comfy at the Same Time

While it’s no secret that I love fashion, and often veer on the side of overdressed, I am also a stay at home mom in real life. My weekdays often consist of running errands, going to play dates, and sometimes my only daily outing can be the grocery store. It is for this reason, that a large part of my wardrobe is what I refer to as
“comfy chic”. What does a busy mom wear on a daily basis to feel put together and confident, but dress comfortable and practical for every day life? I am a person who likes to be comfortable when I am at home. However, if I don’t get out of my pajamas or workout clothes before noon, I just don’t feel good.

In this article, I have put together a series of looks that are great for this every day comfy chic style. All of these outfits are ones that I wear regularly during the week. They are just as comfortable as my pajamas, but look put together after adding a simple accessory and shoes. You will notice that most of the looks are 1 piece such as a dress or jumpsuit and all of the looks are knit. Knits are a must for the comfy chic look because they not only they move with you, but also do not wrinkle easily. My idea of a comfy chic look never involves ironing!
