One of my favorite trends for this fall is the embroidery that seems to be on everything from jackets to dresses, and velvet to denim. Many of the new pieces I have acquired this season involve some kind of embroidery. I always love denim, but I am especially excited about the bohemian style embroidered looks of this article. Throughout this post, intricate embroidery dresses up denim in a way that makes it look both feminine and stylish.
Ruffle Embroidered Denim Jacket:
This embroidered piece is one I anticipate will be a year round, go to piece in my closet. This twist on denim not only incorporates embroidery, but also ruffles on the front, back, and down the sleeves. I paired the jacket with a pink knit dress that is a great year round staple from Francesca’s. My handmade necklace from Hebel Design is trimmed in copper, which is the perfect compliment to the copper hardware on this jacket. I often struggle to find the right jewelry when wearing a jean jacket, but this necklace works perfectly. The look is finished off with these great velvet boots from Old Navy that are not only comfortable, but on trend in velvet, and very affordable. I own these boots in a steel blue color as well.

Pink Ruffle Sweater and Embroidered Jeans:
I was on a mission for the perfect embroidered skinny jeans all last summer. The ones featured in this article, I found at Zara. Although these are sold out, I found a very similar pair from Shein, which are linked below. The ruffle sleeve sweater is also from Shein and I have it in 2 other colors. This sweater is soft, comfortable, and also quite flattering with its dramatic sleeves. I paired the look with my leopard print pumps, which I have had for over 10 years. The pink cross body bag that I am wearing is on sale now and is linked below. This little bag has been a great staple in my closet because it can be worn both as a clutch and with the chain strap as shown.

Mustard Cropped Sweater and Grey Embroidered Jeans:
On my mission to find the perfect embroidered jeans, I found a second pair at Zara that I love as much as the first ones. These grey wash skinny jeans have all the perfect fall colors in them, and I have a so many tops that coordinate with them. For this look, I chose this mustard cropped sweater that can be worn with the cross in the front or back, and gold ankle boots from Old Navy. The look is finished with a hat and a small grey chain bag from Target’s new line, A New Day. While I was shooting this look, my son decided to get in the picture, and how could I resist? Conveniently he was dressed to match me with no prior planning!

Embroidered Denim Skirt:
The denim skirt is from this great little boutique I discovered this fall called Thriver. This female owned boutique is based in Portland, and has great affordable pieces that can be purchased online. You can shop at Thriver with my exclusive discount code stylenav for 10% off your entire purchase. As a bonus, this skirt is now on sale for $30. The bell sleeve salmon colored sweater is soft and comfortable. I a own this one in a few colors as well. My fringe boots are from Minnetonka and are as comfortable as the classic moccasins.
