I seem to be running wild with the theme of embroidery in my closet this fall. A few weeks ago, I posted an article with all embroidered denim. This post is all about everything embroidered as well. I may or may not have an addiction to this lovely detailing. All of these fall looks are perfect to wear now. This gorgeous cornucopia of hues featured throughout this article, make the perfect outfits to wear on Thanksgiving Day and throughout the holiday season.
Unfortunately, I won’t be wearing any of these great fall outfits on Thanksgiving Day, as it is supposed to be 90 degrees in LA. It is a tradition at our house to eat Thanksgiving lunch outdoors. A few years ago this tradition forced us to purchase outdoor heaters, but this year I am afraid we will be using the outdoor fans instead. At any rate, I hope you are enjoying the embroidery detailing as much as I am this season, and that these looks are an inspiration for your Thanksgiving Day attire.
Black Embroidered Skirt:
I had been looking all season for the perfect embroidered mini-skirt. This one from Loft finally hits all the right marks, mainly that it isn’t too short. I am in love with miniskirts at the moment, but they must be an appropriate length for me to indulge in this trend. I have also found that sweaters need to be shorter to be paired with miniskirts. The long sweaters I wear with leggings or skinny jeans are not the same ones that work with this look. The brown, dolman sleeve sweater I am wearing, with the slit detail in the back, turned out to be the perfect pairing with this great skirt.

Embroidered Ruffle Blouse:
I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity all season to wear this blouse. This gold corduroy skirt completes this look with a nod to my elementary school days. In order to elevate this outfit to a more grown up feeling, I chose velvet accessories. My friend gave me this great bag from Anthropologie recently, and I am thrilled at how well it matches my blue velvet boots!

Black Embroidered Sweater:
Besides embroidery, another trend I can’t get enough of this season is dramatic sleeves. This beautiful embroidered sweater has these balloon sleeves with drawstring ties at the wrist, that elevate this piece to whole other level. Because this sweater is a little cropped, I decided a skirt was the right pairing. It would also work great with high-waist pants or jeans as well.

Grey embroidered sweater:
Another embroidered sweater that I am in love with this fall, is this one from Loft with these bell shaped sleeves. It is long enough to wear with my favorite moto leggings, but also looks great dressed up with a skirt, or dressed down with boyfriend jeans. The boots featured in this look have the perfect heel height for all day wear, and were less than $60 at Nordstrom Rack. I loved them so much, I also have them in navy and burgundy.

Burgundy Embroidered Leather Jacket:
This embroidered faux leather jacket is such a great statement piece. I am so glad I did not give into my temptation to buy this in black. The burgundy is unexpected, and it makes it look less biker chic, and more fall sophisticated. I couldn’t resist pairing this great piece with my new favorite distressed denim from Old Navy. I love these jeans so much for the fit and the higher rise that I just ordered a second pair.

Green Embroidered Sweater:
Last but not least, is this beautiful green textured v-neck embroidered sweater. The gold corduroy skirt is on repeat with this look because I just feel it makes the colors in the sweater pop. This is the look I was tentatively planning to wear for my Thanksgiving, until I saw the forecast. I guess it will have to wait for now.
